Product Description

Dahua PFM920I-5EUN on a roll of 305 meters is equipped with 100% copper rigid conductors and a durable PVC sheath. The cable is gray in color and has a length of approximately 305 meters and is delivered in a handy dispenser box.

The network cable has conductors of 100% high-quality copper for maximum quality, durability and reliability. The network cable is equipped with 24AWG high-quality copper wire and is therefore very capable of delivering the required power when using Power over Ethernet. This Dahua cable therefore has no conductors of copper-plated aluminum (CCA: copper clad aluminum) or copper-plated steel (CCS: copper clad steel) that are often used in cheaper network cables that therefore have a much lower quality, reliability and durability and may cause problems with, for example, Power over Ethernet applications.

This Dahua PFM920I-5EUN network cable is not shielded by foil (UTP: Unshielded Twisted Pair). Shielded cable (such as FTP and STP) is only recommended in situations where a lot of electromagnetic interference, such as from heavy industrial electric motors, can be expected. Due to greatly improved electrical products, the use of more expensive shielded cable is unnecessary in almost every other environment and shielded network cable can even have a negative effect on incorrectly installed network systems.
