Product Description
The MS-C8183-PC is a dome camera from the Milesight brand from the AI series. The resolution of the camera is 8 megapixels and is equipped with a 2.8 mm fixed lens. This gives the camera a wide viewing angle of 110°. The camera needs little light to film clear images and has a night vision of up to 20 meters in the dark. The images can be viewed on a recorder or the camera can be installed standalone with a micro SD card. The MS-C8183-PC is suitable for indoor installation.

Excellent performance in challenging lighting conditions
This camera guarantees crystal-clear images in difficult lighting conditions. It captures colorful images with a minimum illumination of just 0.01 lux, while its 120 dB Super WDR captures details in high-contrast and backlit conditions. With a field of view of 110° horizontally, 126° diagonally and 60° vertically (with the 2.8 mm lens) and up to 20 m infrared illumination distance, it ensures comprehensive and clear surveillance.
3-axis mechanical design
The 3-axis mechanical design provides 180° pan, 15-90° tilt, and 360° rotation capabilities, allowing you to effortlessly and quickly adjust the camera's viewing angle for maximum coverage.
Interface and connectivity
With a 10M/100M RJ45 port, it provides a fast and reliable network connection. In addition, this camera supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, which allows power and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and reducing the need for excess wiring.
New microphone
It is also equipped with a built-in microphone, which enables real-time audio recording and further enhances the monitoring and security capabilities of the device. New: Improved with a new codec, the voice captured by the microphone is clearer, which is a great improvement compared with the previous model.
Artificial Intelligence Video Analysis
It features advanced video analytics that enables intelligent object filtering, focusing on the detection of people and vehicles in multiple events such as Region Entry, Region Exit, Loitering, Advanced Motion Detection, and so on. This functionality improves the accuracy and efficiency of monitoring, and provides relevant information and timely warnings to ensure effective and proactive monitoring in various situations and environments.
120dB Super-WDR
Milesight’s sensor-based WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology enables the camera to capture more scene details with accurate color reproduction even in extreme backlight and contrast conditions. The ratio of the brightest light signal values to the darkest light signal values reaches up to 120 dB. This advanced WDR feature ensures that captured images are clear and accurate regardless of variations in lighting conditions, making the camera ideal for a wide range of applications and environments.
Operating conditions and technical specifications
The AI IR Mini Dome Network Camera is designed to operate in a temperature range of -40℃ to 60℃ and humidity levels of 0% to 90% (non-condensing), making it suitable for various environmental conditions. It is powered via PoE (802.3af), with a maximum power consumption of 3.3W (5W with IR enabled). The camera weighs 200g and has dimensions of Φ97.8mm x 57.9mm, making it a compact and lightweight option for various security applications.
Compression H265+
You can take advantage of the latest H.265+ compression, which offers significantly improved compression efficiency compared to its predecessor, H.264. H.265+ technology reduces the bit rate and size of video files, resulting in significant savings on bandwidth and storage without sacrificing image quality.
