The MS-C2971-X23RTPE is a compact PTZ dome camera from the AI series of Milesight. The camera has a 2 megapixel resolution and a lens with 23x optical zoom. PTZ stands for pan, tilt and zoom and means that it is possible to move the camera and zoom in remotely. The PTZ can rotate 360° without limit.
The camera can be set to automatically detect and follow people. The images can be viewed on a recorder or the camera can be installed standalone with a micro SD card. The MS-C2971-X23RTPE is suitable for mounting both indoors and outdoors and is vandal-proof according to IP66 and IK10.

The Milesight Mini PTZ dome security camera is a compact powerhouse suitable for a wide range of surveillance applications. 360° unlimited rotation and rotation combined with 23x optical zoom enable high-quality surveillance even in large areas. The weight of the camera is only 2kg and the dimensions are Φ183mm X 174.8mm. The camera has an ingress protection degree of IP66 and vandalism resistance of IK10.
Versatile mounting options
The Mini PTZ Dome security camera offers a wide range of mounting options. The camera can be surface mounted or, using a dip collar, the camera can be embedded in ceiling structures, for example, leaving only the dome visible. Wall and ceiling mounts are also available with their own mounting brackets for easy installation of the camera.
Easy installation PoE+ power supply
The Milesight Mini PTZ Dome 23× 2 MP PoE+ is equipped with advanced PoE+ technology, which enables the supply of operating voltage to the network cable. Thus, setting up the camera is much easier than traditional, because the camera does not need a power outlet next to it and there is no need to encapsulate the power supply as is usually the case with PTZ surveillance cameras.

The image quality of the Mini PTZ Dome security camera is excellent. The video resolution is 1920×1080 @ 60 fps. Fast frame rates ensure accurate images, even of fast-moving subjects. Intelligent image enhancement technologies, including HLC for license plate photography, Super WDR 140 dB for challenging lighting conditions, and noise reduction.
The latest version of H.265+ video compression technology reduces video file size to less than half. At the same time, bandwidth consumption can be reduced by up to 70-80% compared to the older H.264 , significantly reducing the burden on the network connection. New technology brings significant cost savings and improves business operations. The camera also has a built-in memory card slot.
23x optical zoom and 255 memory slots
The PTZ surveillance camera has a 23x optical zoom, which allows the camera to see up to a hundred meters away. The angle of view is 60 ° ~ 3 °.
The head is fully rotating (HiSpeed Dome) and the rotation speed (rotation 0.02 ~450°/s and pan 0.02 ~450°/s) is adjustable as needed, which makes the control very easy and precise. The camera can be controlled directly with the mouse thanks to 3D panning.

The PTZ security camera is IP66 rated and can operate at an operating temperature of -40°C~60°C, making it fully weatherproof for outdoor use. The camera is also equipped with a fan that ensures proper humidity inside the camera and prevents the lens from fogging up.

ONVIF compatible security camera connects the camera to a controller or other software
The Milesight PTZ Speed Dome is ONVIF compliant, so it can be connected to almost any surveillance system. We recommend connecting the camera to Milesight's built-in recorder.
