COLERHUNTER TECHNOLOGY
Uniview’s ColorHunter cameras utilize a combination of hardware and software upgrades to make low-light images significantly brighter and clearer, exposing dark, blurry areas of the image that would be missed with lower-quality cameras. They achieve this by utilizing a large aperture, high-transmittance glass lens, and a large back-illuminated CMOS sensor, coupled with their patented U-ISP technology to provide improved noise reduction and reduce motion blur.

ULTRA MOTION DETECTION
Conventional motion detection analyzes the differences between adjacent video frames to detect if there is a change. However, there is a challenge with this type of detection. When you have no control over the environment, it is difficult to prevent false alarms. In other words, you end up with a lot of false alarms, which is counterproductive since the goal is effective surveillance.

Ultra motion detection (UMD) is like conventional motion detection on steroids: it is more accurate and efficient than traditional motion detection. Ultra motion detection supports targeting three different object types: motor vehicle(s), non-motor vehicle(s), and human(s)/pedestrian(s). UMD filters objects based on motion detection, detects the motion of very specific object types, and triggers an alarm when the motion of that object(s) is detected.

WIDE DYNAMIIC RANGE (WDR)
WDR technology improves a camera’s image quality under high-contrast lighting conditions where both dim and bright areas are present in the field of view. It enables the camera to clearly capture details in both dimly and brightly lit areas of the video. The ability to discern details, even in videos recorded under such high-contrast lighting conditions, is extremely important for surveillance and security applications. By using a camera with strong Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) performance, it can clearly capture detailed features by properly exposing both the darkest and brightest parts of the entire scene.

SMART BURGLAR PROTECTION (SIP)
Uniview's smart intrusion prevention (SIP) technology is designed to improve the accuracy of perimeter protection and achieve the efficient management of a surveillance system, so that important areas can be monitored in real time and security personnel can be freed from the tedious and constant inspection of monitored areas. Through target classification, users can focus only on the targets they care about instead of wading through a mountain of false alarms. This enables users to retrieve the information from the NVR quickly and accurately.
