FireProtect 2 AC is a mains powered detector designed for residential fire safety. Two thermistors react quickly to burning synthetic materials, and the carbon monoxide sensor sounds the alarm before the concentration level becomes dangerous. Everything complies with the latest fire safety standards. A Thoughtful design, improved mounting panel with WAGO 221 connections and in-app settings make the installation process simple and easy, providing an RPO with the ultimate user experience.

Impermeable to dust and insectsThe smoke chamber is designed to prevent any contamination that could affect detection. A unique circulation mechanism provides the optical sensor with an unobstructed field to quickly identify combustion products in the air.
Ignores cooking fumes and water steamThe smoke chamber is wired with a dual-spectrum optical sensor, which has blue and infrared LEDs with different wavelengths. It uses the most reliable real-time detection method, which directly measures the concentration of microparticles in the air. Thanks to this technology, FireProtect 2 AC can determine the size of volatile particles in the chamber and react only to smoke. Vapour and steam are ignored.
Only real threats are registeredIn-depth research into material combustion has led to HazeFlow 2, a smoke detection algorithm developed by Ajax. The algorithm simultaneously analyzes and compares the data from the dual-spectrum optical sensor via a specified pattern to distinguish smoke from vapor or steam. The detector immediately raises the alarm if the dynamic patterns indicate a real fire.
FireProtect 2 is equipped with two class A1R thermistors to detect smokeless fire threats. They offer a significant advantage in detecting a rapid temperature increase when synthetic materials burn or a fire starts by smouldering. Thermistors are located outside the enclosure to eliminate life-saving detection delays. FireProtect 2 AC is therefore ready to detect a fire as quickly as possible, even if it starts unnoticed.

The detector is powered by 110-240 V~ from the mains and has a built-in backup battery. Even if the power fails, the detector continues to work without problems. It is designed to detect fire quickly and reliably with a lifespan of 10 years.
Always and everywhere up to dateFor residential fire alarm systems, informing people about a fire hazard is of paramount importance. FireProtect 2 is equipped with a powerful 85 dB siren so that an alarm cannot be missed. The detector uses tones with different patterns that are impossible to ignore to indicate each alarm or event, so that the type of threat is easily recognized and the appropriate response can be made.
The SmartBracket mounting panel allows the detector position to be adjusted after installation.
