MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller is a wireless motion detector that supports photo verification. It detects motion in the secured area with an infrared sensor by capturing moving objects with a temperature close to the human body. After detecting motion, the built-in camera will take a series of photos, so that you can dynamically judge what is happening at the site, thus protecting users from unnecessary anxiety and security companies from false calls of patrols.
When an armed detector detects motion, it immediately sends an alarm to the hub, which activates the sirens connected to the system, triggers scenarios, and notifies users and the security company. All MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller alarms and events are included in the Ajax app notification feed.
Users know exactly where motion is detected. The notifications include the hub name (name of the protected facility), the device name, and the virtual room the detector is assigned to.

Motion detector and camera in one package: alarms with photoThe Ajax MotionCam PhOD motion detector camera, in addition to the traditional PIR motion detector, contains a camera that takes a photo when the motion detector detects movement. When an alarm is received, the cause of the alarm can be checked directly from the mobile application using a series of images. Thanks to the photos, it is easy to check false alarms.
MotionCam requires a Hub 2 series central unit to operate.
Photo requestThe Ajax MotionCam PhOD or Photo on Demand camera sensor is equipped with a photo request, which means that the user can request a photo of the object even without an alarm.
Animal friendly motion detectorThe MotionCam PhOD motion sensor is a so-called pet-friendly, i.e. it does not react to pets weighing less than 20 kg and less than 50 cm tall. The alarm system can therefore also be active when there are small pets nearby.
Coverage and interference detectorsThe Ajax MotionCam PhOD motion detector with camera is also equipped with cover and interference detectors. If the motion sensor is covered, it will immediately warn you. Interference with the wireless signal will also cause an alarm, because the Ajax Hub central unit monitors the status of all sensors.
The motion sensor also has a temperature sensor.
Very easy installationInstalling the Ajax motion sensor is very simple. Commissioning is done using an application that can be installed on a smartphone and the motion detector is attached with screws or Velcro.
