Product Description
MotionProtect Curtain is a wireless curtain type motion detector. The detector has a narrow horizontal detection angle and is designed for indoor perimeter control: windows, doorways and other entrances or exits of the monitored facility. Maximum motion detection distance is 15 m.
MotionProtect Curtain integrates into Ajax security systems and connects to a hub via the Jeweler secure protocol. Wireless coverage can reach up to 1,700 m line of sight. The pre-installed battery ensures autonomous operation up to 3 years.
An iOS or Android app is used to set up the detector. It also notifies the user about events with push notifications, SMS or calls (if enabled).
Ajax can be connected to the central control room of a security company.

MotionProtect Curtain's IR sensors detect intrusion into the building by detecting moving objects with a temperature close to that of the human body.
Once the system is armed, the detector begins polling its two IR sensors. If motion is detected, an alarm status is immediately sent to the hub and the green LED on the device begins flashing. After an alarm condition is interrupted, the Hub activates sirens and alerts the user and the security company.
To prevent false alarms, MotionProtect Curtain has a Correlation Signal Processing functionality that is enabled in the detector’s settings. Once active, the detector will start sending alarm states to the hub only if an identical motion signal is registered by both IR sensors. When disabled, MotionProtect Curtain will send an alarm state even with one of the two IR sensors activated.
