A new world of hardware
LightSwitch is a smart lighting control system that provides advanced electrical protection and reliability at the level of professional security systems. There is no need to use a neutral wire to connect a dimmer. It is controlled via software developed by Ajax and does not suffer from crashes or freezes. The device also has tamper protection that detects when the panel is disconnected from the dimmer.

Reliable connection to the hub
LightSwitch capabilities are powered by the hub, the brain of the Ajax system. With one click, the smart switch is paired with the hub in the app. Hub runs on OS Malevich, a real-time operating system developed by Ajax Systems. OS Malevich is extremely stable, immune to viruses and protected against cyberattacks.

Unique wireless technologies
In order to use the smart capabilities of LightSwitch, communication with the Ajax hub is required. The reliability does not depend on popular technologies such as Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, ZigBee or Bluetooth. Instead, it uses the company's own Jeweller radio communication technology that meets high industry standards and ensures safety, range and energy efficiency. The Jeweller functionality continues to work despite interruptions in the household and is not affected by sudden failures or outages.

LightSwitch has a radio communication range of up to 900 meters in an open space, which is further than the average of competing solutions from other manufacturers. Automated power adjustment makes it energy efficient by regularly not using the maximum power of radio transmitters of the devices within the system. It is also more stable and has less interfering radio frequencies.
