Ajax Transmitter Fiber
Product Description
Transmitter Fibra has a dual purpose: first, to connect functional third-party devices to the Ajax system and thus extend their capabilities; and second, to connect specific devices that are not yet included in the Ajax portfolio. Transmitter Fibra can be easily installed with any third-party device. The module supports all connection types, including 3EOL, provides many event types for the connected device, can be configured remotely and regularly reports its status to the hub.
More features
Outdated becomes innovative
Once a third-party device is integrated via Transmitter, it can be managed and configured remotely. PROs can manage settings and set up scenarios remotely; end users receive push notifications and can manage security in the app. This breathes new life into devices already installed on site or enhances the functionality of new third-party devices that need to be integrated into the Ajax system. The best Ajax user experience is extended to third-party devices.
The Ajax experience for third-party devices
Motion detectors for roller shutters, IR detectors, household gas sensors, thermostats, float sensors and other devices make Ajax available everywhere. Connect them to a hub via Transmitter and manage the combined solution in the Ajax app.
In addition, alarms or other events from connected devices can be used to trigger automation. Nothing prevents you from setting up automation scenarios yourself as desired. Automation scenarios are intended to enhance security or automate a routine. They can be triggered by alarms or specific events, making them an ideal solution for security and automation.
Versatile security management with KeyArm
Third-party keypads or other access devices can be connected to the Ajax system. This opens up almost unlimited possibilities for integration, renovation and system management. For example, the user can control the security of the entire premises, partial arming or even individual groups using a third-party device.
An EOL connection can be used to lock down the security management when the tamper protection of a third-party device is activated. Only an authenticated user with the right permissions can unlock it again. This makes it almost impossible to sabotage the system.
Compatible with any third party device
Transmitter Fibra can handle almost any third-party device. Thanks to its small size, the module fits into the housing of most devices. Transmitter supports NC, NO, EOL, 2EOL and 3EOL connection types. It works with pulsed and bistable devices. It also has the function of selecting a normal contact state and supports numerous event types for the connected device. The module has two inputs (Z1 and Z2) that allow you to connect one device via the AATT scheme or two devices at the same time. Transmitter can also provide a 12 V⎓ power supply for the connected device, which is standard for most solutions on the market.
Security via smartphone and PC
System users can enjoy app-based security control, data-rich notifications, and automation scenarios via Transmitter. An installer can set up the system or device in the PRO app, both on-site and remotely. And for security companies, we offer free software so they can monitor all events and alarms in Ajax systems.
Data-rich alarms and events
Transmitter allows you to specify the device name, alarm type and a space for a connected wired device. This makes the notifications more detailed - you will know not only what happened, but also where. This information is displayed via push notifications and SMS messages and sent to the monitoring station of the security company. Numerous types of alarms are available: burglar alarm, fire alarm, additional alarm, panic button, gas alarm, sabotage alarm, fault alarm, leakage alarm, custom alarm, roller shutter alarm, etc. Transmitter also informs about its own faults and those of the connected device if they occur. For example, if the connection is lost.
Less hassle thanks to automated security
With Transmitter, even an old third-party device becomes a part of a secure smart home. Alarms or events from an integrated device can trigger automation scenarios. Use automation scenarios so that the security system responds immediately to threats without waiting for a response team or the police. Ajax turns on the light when the motion detector alarms, turns off potential fire sources at the first sign of fire, or closes the roller shutter and gate in case of an attempt to break in the front door.
Unique wired technology
An Ajax system uses a secure radio protocol for two-way communication based on the proprietary Fibra protocol. It uses encryption and device authentication to prevent tampering, spoofing, and data theft. Fibra cables are versatile and support several types of devices on one bus: sirens, keypads, and detectors with photo verification.
