Thanks to Time-of-Flight technology, the sensor processes only 3D depth data rather than camera footage. The intelligent U-turn detection prevents individuals walking back or wandering around an entrance from being incorrectly registered multiple times.

This allows the sensor to better distinguish between actual entrances and exits and limits false-positive counts.

Reliable day and night
Because the VS132-868M uses its own near-infrared light source, the sensor is independent of ambient light. People can therefore be detected even in complete darkness.

Local data storage
The sensor features local storage for up to 1 million data records. This ensures that statistics remain available, even when there is temporarily no network connection.
