The Uniview IPC8542ER5-DUG OmniView Multi-Sensor 4K LightHunter camera offers advanced technology for capturing large areas in razor-sharp resolution. Thanks to its four 4.2mm lenses, this camera covers a panoramic 180° field of view. True WDR technology provides high-quality images even in challenging lighting conditions, allowing for clear capture of complex scenes. Additionally, the camera is designed to perform in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°F to +158°F, ensuring reliable operation under almost any environmental conditions.

The camera features IP67 certification, which guarantees exceptional weather resistance and protection against the elements. With an IK10 impact rating, the highest possible level for security cameras, this rugged unit is capable of withstanding use in even the most demanding and hostile environments. Furthermore, the IPC8542ER5-DUG features efficient night vision up to a distance of 50 meters (164 feet), supported by Smart IR technology, ensuring safety even in low-light conditions.

IK10 Vandal Protection
An IK10 Vandal Proof Rating makes this OmniView Camera a rugged solution capable of withstanding abuse. IK10 is one of the highest levels of mechanical protection defined by the EN 62262 standard. Therefore, the OmniView camera can be placed in areas with a high risk of vandalism.

Extremely Wide Temperature Range
The OmniView camera has an extremely wide temperature range for optimal performance in harsh environments! An operating temperature of up to –40°C ~ +70°C (-40°F ~ 158°F) means that cold weather is no problem for this IP panoramic camera.

On-board storage (edge storage)
This 4K Starlight OmniView IP camera has a MicroSD card slot for on-board recording. On-board recording can be used as redundant video storage, keeping data safe even if the network connection is lost.

True WDR
The IPC8542ER5-DUG Starlight OmniView 8MP IP camera features True 120dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). Scenes with a variable light range are difficult for most cameras. You may have seen footage where scenes are partially washed out or areas are underexposed. With True WDR cameras, however, scenes are rendered in full detail, capturing clear bright and dark areas simultaneously. This is especially useful in applications such as entryways where you might have dim lighting indoors, but bright sunlight at your doorway or windows. See our example image below!

LightHunter Technology
See color in the dark with Uniview LightHunter cameras! Standard IR cameras switch to IR mode at night and images become black and white. You are likely familiar with this operation, which means cameras are not in color when you need them most. With LightHunter technology, your images remain in color down to extremely low light levels. Therefore, more detailed images can be viewed both live and during playback. ANR (Automatic Network Redundancy)
The OmniView camera supports ANR (Automatic Network Redundancy). Therefore, an extra level of security is provided for your stored data. UNV cameras with a MicroSD card slot can automatically save video recordings to your camera's SD card if the connection to your network is lost. Once your network is restored, the video recordings are sent back to the storage server. This way, all video recordings are saved, even during temporary network outages.
