Our IPC8542ER5-DUG OmniView Multi-Sensor 4K LightHunter Camera. Multi-sensor cameras have multiple lenses and are therefore designed to cover a large area in high resolution. The IPC8542ER5-DUG, (or 'DUG' as we call it) has (4) X 4.2mm lenses that cover a 180° AOV (Angle of View). With True WDR, the camera can produce more perfect images in complex scenes, meaning that challenging lighting conditions are no problem. Furthermore, this multi-sensor panoramic camera can operate within an extreme temperature range of -40°C ~ +70°C (-40°F ~ 158°F) . Weatherproof ratings on this professional camera are IP67, giving you maximum protection from the elements. An IK10 Impact rating is the highest rating available for security cameras. This rating allows the camera to be deployed in hostile environments! Additionally, IPC8542ER5-DUG has OmniView Multi-Sensor up to 50m night vision capabilities with Smart IR.

IK10 Vandal Protection
An IK10 Vandal Proof Rating makes this OmniView Camera a robust solution that can withstand abuse. IK10 is one of the highest levels of mechanical protection defined by the EN 62262 standard. Therefore, the OmniView camera can be placed in areas with high vandalism.

Extremely wide temperature range
The OmniView camera has an extremely wide temperature range for optimal performance in harsh environments! An operating temperature of up to -40°C ~ +70°C (-40°F ~ 158°F) means cold weather is no problem for this IP panoramic camera.

On-board storage (edge ​​storage)
This 4K Starlight OmniView IP camera has a MicroSD card slot for onboard recording. Onboard recording can be used as a redundant video storage with data saved even if the network connection is lost, keeping your data safe.

Real WDR
The IPC8542ER5-DUG Starlight OmniView 8mp IP camera has True 120dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). Scenes with variable light range are challenging for most cameras. You may have seen footage where scenes are partially washed out, or areas are underexposed. With True WDR cameras however, scenes are rendered in full detail for bright and dark areas at the same time. This is especially useful in applications such as entranceways where you may have dim lighting indoors, but your doorway or windows have bright sunlight. See our example image below!

LightHunter technology
See color in the dark with Uniview LightHunter cameras! Standard IR cameras switch to IR mode at night and the images become black and white. You are probably familiar with this operation, which means that the cameras are not in color when you need them most. With LightHunter technology, your images remain in color down to extremely low light levels. Therefore, more detailed images can be viewed both live and during playback. Uniview's new technology combines Starlight Sensors with their exclusive U-ISP Technology for less blur, less smearing and more color! You will love the images with Lighthunter IP cameras!

ANR (Automatic Network Redundancy)
The OmniView camera supports ANR (Automatic Network Redundancy). Therefore, an additional level of security is provided for your stored data. UNV cameras with a MicroSD card slot can automatically save video recordings to your camera's SD card if the connection to your network is lost. As soon as your network is restored, the video recordings are sent back to the storage server. In this way, all video recordings are saved, even temporary network interruptions.
